Overview

HisabKitab is an AI-powered accounting platform built for Indian SMEs, startups, freelancers, and Chartered Accountants. As the product evolved into a more intelligent, AI-first solution, the existing website struggled to reflect this shift. It functioned primarily as a static brochure rather than a product-led growth surface.

Our objective was to transform the HisabKitab website into a clear, scalable, and conversion-focused digital experience. One that communicates trust, innovation, and ease of use from the first interaction.

The Challenge

Despite a strong product offering, the website faced several limitations:

  • Outdated visual language that didn’t reflect an AI-first fintech product

  • Weak information hierarchy, making it hard to understand offerings quickly

  • AI capabilities and CA-led expertise were buried deep in content

  • Rigid WordPress templates limited scalability and iteration

  • Content-heavy pages without a clear user journey or conversion intent

The challenge was to simplify complexity while establishing HisabKitab as a credible, modern accounting solution for India’s growing business ecosystem.

Scope

The engagement focused on redesigning and migrating HisabKitab’s marketing website from WordPress to Framer, with a strong emphasis on clarity, scalability, performance, and conversion optimization.

Problems Identified

The existing website suffered from a few critical issues:


  • Outdated visual language that didn’t reflect an AI-first product.

  • Weak information hierarchy, making it difficult to understand offerings quickly.

  • AI capabilities were buried, not communicated clearly or confidently.

  • Low scalability, with rigid WordPress templates limiting future growth.

  • Content-heavy pages without clear user flow or conversion intent.

Design Process

•Conducted a 4-week design sprint, working closely with the founders to align on vision, tone, and product positioning.


•Restructured the website architecture to ensure logical content flow across Home, Solutions, and Industries.


•Defined visual patterns and component systems for scalability.


•Simplified the user journey to increase clarity and highlight conversion points (demo, trial, and app downloads).


•Delivered final designs and conducted a 1-week knowledge transfer with the internal team for smooth handoff and implementation.

Collaboration

Collaborated directly with the founder, ensuring every design decision tied back to brand authenticity, business goals, and the unique CA-led credibility of HisabKitab.

Visual Design

The visual design was intentionally restrained to support clarity, trust, and conversion. Rather than relying on decorative elements, the design emphasizes strong hierarchy, generous spacing, and content-first layouts.

A system-led approach ensured consistency across pages while allowing flexibility for future expansion. Visual cues were used sparingly to highlight key value propositions, AI capabilities, and conversion actions, helping users navigate the site with minimal friction.

The result is a calm, professional interface that reflects HisabKitab’s credibility as a CA-led, AI-powered accounting platform built for Indian businesses.
