Overview
Epoch Elder Care is a premium senior living provider focused on delivering person-centered care that respects individual preferences across every stage of aging. While the brand had built strong trust and recognition in the elder care space, its internal financial operations had not scaled at the same pace.
As they prepared for expansion, a critical operational bottleneck emerged. Day-to-day expenses across its three care centers were being tracked manually and communicated to residents’ families individually. With multiple residents per center and families covering ongoing costs, this process became increasingly time-intensive, error-prone, and difficult to manage.
The lack of a streamlined financial system led to operational stagnation, delayed reporting, and frequent management disputes, posing a direct risk to scalability and operational efficiency. Epoch approached us to reimagine and fix this broken financial workflow, ensuring their backend systems could support the same level of excellence as their frontline care.
Scope
To support Epoch Elder Care’s operational transformation and future expansion, our engagement focused on strengthening both the brand’s digital presence and user experience. The scope of work included:
Website Designing

Challenge
Although the overall brand recognition for EPOCH Elder Care was solid, We were approached by them for fixing an ongoing problem in their live finances.
With their upcoming plans of expansion, their operations were lagging behind the rest of the brand’s line due to the same. Since the families of the elderly residents covered their expenses and a large number of residents were in each of the three EPOCH Elder Care centers, the daily expenditures were manually jotted down and sent to the families and hence, was a very time-consuming process.
This in turn resulted in alot of stagnation and management disputes.
Early Sketching
Before moving into visual design, we focused on structuring the core user flows through low-fidelity wireframes. This phase was dedicated to clarity, usability, and operational logic, ensuring the platform could handle daily financial tracking without friction.
The wireframes mapped key journeys such as login, expense logging, monthly summaries, and resident-wise tracking. By stripping the interface down to essentials, we were able to validate information hierarchy, reduce unnecessary steps, and align the product flow with real on-ground workflows at Epoch’s care centers.
Visual Design
We began by aligning on the core problem, manual and time-intensive financial workflows and translated these insights into user-centric design decisions.
Research and stakeholder inputs informed how information needed to be structured for clarity and speed, especially for daily expense tracking and family-facing communication. These insights shaped the wireframes, which acted as a functional blueprint to validate flows, hierarchy, and usability before moving into visual design.
Once the structure was locked, the interface was refined with a focus on simplicity, accessibility, and consistency. Continuous feedback loops ensured the design remained practical, intuitive, and scalable, resulting in a solution that balanced operational efficiency with a calm, trustworthy visual experience.
Outcome
Through the dynamic integration of our solution, EPOCH Elder Care was able to overcome their daily obstacles of live finances and management.
Apart from that, EPOCH Elder Care’s Application and Website gives a significantly stronger user experience for the families of the elderly, with improved navigation and superior content.
